Formerly know as Legible Type, PixelFonts.co.uk was rebranded and launched in April 2008, featuring a brand new shopping cart functionality. Thanks to everyone who supported and featured Legible Type in their websites and blogs.

What is a pixel font?

A pixel font is a typeface designed to be used in increments of 8 (eg: 8, 16, 24, 32 etc). It is a sharp, crisp looking typeface which is used by web designers and developers when creating Adobe Flash based websites or applications.

What happens when I buy fonts?

After you create an account, you can browse and buy pixel fonts. All our fonts are in TrueType format, Mac and PC versions included. Once you make a purchase your fonts are automatically added to your account so you can download them instantly.

Within each font, you will receive:
- Mac and PC versions of the font (TrueType)
- Type examples of use (Adobe Flash MX2004)
